After relocating to Santa Barbara, CA in the 1970's Joe attended Brooks Art School where he was introduced to glassblowing; he was drawn like a moth to a flame.

Having his own studio has been a life long endeavor and now, Joe enjoys teaching his family and friends the ancient art form.
